Sam Mattis was born into a Christian family in Manhattan, New York. His father was the captain of the William & Mary track and field team in 1985. He holds the record for throwing a discus throw of 35 pounds.
Along with this, he has also secured the third position in the hammer competition.
Mattis began his schooling at East Brunswick High School after his early education. There he began participating in discus throw competitions as a teenager. He competed for the University of Pennsylvania Cleavers in college. There he won the NCAA title.
And he threw 67.45m to win the Pennsylvania College Classic, the second-best score in college student history. Sam received a bachelor’s degree in financial management and enrolled at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania to study business.
