Jacoby was born in a Christian family in Anchorage, Alaska, United States. She was raised in Seward, Alaska. Jacoby loved swimming since childhood. So, she started swimming at the age of 6 with her fellow children’s team.
Her children’s team was named Seward Tsunami Swimming Club. When Jacoby was 12 years old, she broke her first Alaskan record in breaststroke swimming. And set a new record. Jacoby enrolled in Seward High School.
Set high school state record in 100m breaststroke during the year 2018-2019 in the same school. She qualified for the US Olympic Trials in 2018 at the age of 14.
In 2018 she won the girls’ high school swimming event with a time of 2:09:31 in the 200-yard medley and also set a new Alaska state record in the 100-meter-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:03:11.
