Jubin Nautiyal was born on 14 June 1989 in a middle-class family in a village called Kyari, Dehradun, Uttarakhand. After some time after his birth, the whole family and settled in Dehradun. His father’s name is Ram Saran, Nautiyal, a politician and businessman and his mother Neena Nautiyal is a housewife, his father was fond of music.

That’s why he used to listen to the song on the radio in the house and also used to hum it. When Jubin was 4 years old, his father took him in his lap and sang the song “Pyaar Ka Nagma”.

Although he was not that intelligent, but he liked music, so he decided that I would become a singer. Jubin did his schooling till his eighth from St. Joseph’s Academy. Studied 10th and Twelfth from Welham Boy’s School. In class 10 and 12, he did his studies in music and he was learning classic music.

In Mumbai, he took admission in Mithibai College and started learning music there. When he was studying in Mumbai, he ended up in a studio by sourcing a lot. There he met the great singer AR Rahman. R Rahman gave him 5 minutes. At the same time Jubin said, Sir, I want to tell you something.

He said listen, then he sang a song and asked him how I sing. Then he said that your voice is very good. You just need to work harder and keep learning from the musician you are learning from. He came back to Dehradun following what he had said.

After coming back from Mumbai, took admission in DAV College and completed graduation. There he again started learning music from Vandana Srivastava. Learned music by roaming in India for about 4 years.

Jubin used to learn music from Pandit Channulal Mishra in Banaras and also took training in Hindustani classical music from Samant. He took training in Western Music from Chennai. After trying for 4 years he came back to Mumbai.

In the year 2011, Jubin participated in a reality show X Factor in which he gave his performance but Sonu Nigam told him no. So he could not make it to the top 25 and came back.

Jubin did not want to give up while following his path and started making rounds of music companies in Mumbai with his guitar. After traveling for a long time, he got a chance to sing a sketch. So 100 to 200 sketches were sung.
