Nelson Dilipkumar was born on 21 June 1984 in vellor, Tamil Nadu, India in a middle Hindu family. Was fond of working in the film industry since childhood. He studied 12th from Jerom Reginold New college, Chennai. And obtained a bachelor’s degree in visual communication.

Nelson began his career as a screenwriter and directed his first reality show, Azadagi. In 2010, Nelson made his film Vettai Mannan. The film starred Hanshika Motwani and Devesh Seth. The film had to be interrupted due to unknown reasons. Nelson Dilipkumar had played his lead role in Kollywood films.
