Babar Azam Life Story
Babar Azam was born on 15 October 1994 in Lahore, Pakistan. He used to play cricket with his cousins, Umar Akmal and Kamran Akmal. Much of his childhood was spent in playing cricket, due to his interest in cricket, he did not feel like studying much.
That’s why his mother got him admission in Lahore’s Cricket Academy. Babar spent most of his time playing cricket. He was greatly influenced by his cousins. That’s why he chose cricket as his career.
Babar Azam International Career
Babar Azam was good at playing cricket, so in the year 2012, he was given the captaincy of the Under-19 World Cup because he was known for his good performance in the Under-15. So did well in the Under-19 world cup.
In the year 2015, a debut was made against the Zimbabwe team that visited Lahore, in which he was sent to bat at a very low rung and could not do much for his team.
In the year 2016, Man of the Match scored 120 runs in the first ODI against the West Indies team that toured the UAE.
He also scored a century in the second match of the same series. He scored 117 runs in 106 balls in the next third match. So became the player of Pakistan who scored a hat-trick of the century. He became the highest scorer of 360 runs in the three-match ODI series.
Test debut was made against West Indies in the year 2016. It was a match of day and night. In this, he scored 69 runs in the first innings. In this way the players who made the debut became the players to score half-centuries.
Babar Azam played his first T20 match against England on 7 September 2016, in which he did not perform very well and played the last match against Zimbabwe on 25 April 2021. He is known to play like Indian cricketer Virat Kohli.
