Born on 20 January 1966, Rainn Wilson is of Norwegian descent and his family belongs to the Baha’i religion. His mother was a yoga teacher and actress. His father was a business consultant who wrote the science fiction and novel Tentacles of Dawn.
Wilson 2 years after birth. Lived in Nicaragua with his stepmother and father. He did his education at Keylong Middle School and Shorecrest High School in Shoreline, Washington. There he learned to play the shehnai. After some time his family moved to Illinois to serve at the Bahá’í National Center.

So he transferred to New Trial High School and graduated from there. He earned a degree in drama in 1986 and began acting in theatrical productions in New York and his popularity began to grow.
